NIGHT
Presentation night was held on 7th
November at Station Hotel. Thank you to everyone who attended and made
it one of the best presentation nights in recent years. This years

TRAINING
Due to unforeseen circumstances, there will be no
further training for 2008. Training will recommence in 2009. Thank you
to Bec for running training throughout the year, your hard work was
very much appreciated.
MIXED PLAYERS
Our new Monash mixed team at Royal Park
is looking for some extra players. It’s a great competition! Game
are from 5:30 – 8:50 on Sunday nights. Please email monashnetballclub@hotmail.com
if you are interested.
AUG
Monash University
had a mixed and women’s netball team compete in the most recent
Australian University Games held in Melbourne in September. Both teams
made if to the grand final matches and came away with silver medals
which is a tremendous effort. Five monash players were awarded
‘green and gold’ medals for being the top players of the
tornament.
Overall, Monash
University won the games
proving to be the strongest sporting university in Australia!

CONGRATULATIONS!!
Monash Bronze and Monash Silver were victorious in
their respective grand final’s in the Waverley centre competition with
Monash Gold and Diamonds coming runners up. Overall, the best results
ever for Monash netball club with all five teams making finals, four
making grand finals and two winning! The spring season begins soon and
training will again be Thursday nights…lets work hard and make it
a clean sweep for Monash in the Spring competition!!
Also congratulations to Monash mixed netball team
who were premiers in the autumn competition at the State netball Centre
in A grade. The team beat the reigning champions who had not lost a
game for three seasons!! Great effort!
