MOTHERS DAY
CLASSIC
Monash netball club was again well supported at
the Mother’s Day Classic on Sunday 10th May. The run
helps raise money for breast cancer research, and is definitely a

MONASH NETBALL
CLUB DINNER
The inaugural club dinner was held on April 6th.
Over forty club members attended the dinner and enjoyed spending time
getting to know their new club mates. For more photos of the night, click here.

2009 –
games are on!
Waverley, Royal Park
and social teams are all now underway. A reminder that membership fees
are now OVERDUE! You need to pay membership fees as well as bring along
a completed membership
form.
For those girls playing at Waverley, a reminder that you will
need to renew your VNA membership at the front desk ASAP. Waverley
players should also complete a code of conduct (here).

TRAINING
Training has now commenced and the new format of
separate Waverley
and social trainings has been working very well. We have had
approximately 60 people training with the club. A reminder that
training is compulsory for ALL Waverley
players.

MIXED PLAYERS
Our new Monash mixed team at Royal Park
is looking for some extra players. It’s a great competition! Game
are from 5:30 – 8:50 on Sunday nights. Please email monashnetballclub@gmail.com
if you are interested.
STATE LEAGUE
Our three state league teams have been training
hard and commenced the season strongly. To read more about them, please

This year the state league, Waverley
and Royal
Park teams will
be sponsored by Diadora. As a result of this sponsorship Diadora will
be making our new uniforms. Hoodies will be arriving soon and will be
compulsory for all Waverley
players, but will only cost $15.00 each. Furthermore, if you mention
that you are Monash University Central players when purchasing gear
from the Hawthorn store (444 Burwood Road, Hawthorn) or from the
Sporting House Direct in Moorabbin (Shop T58, DFO Moorabbin, Cnr
